2022 Land Rover New Range Rover Satellite Radio

SATELLITE RADIO CONTROLS

From the source select screen, select the SXM RADIO icon. See MEDIA CONTROLS.

1. Return icon: Returns to the media source select screen.
2. Satellite icon: Indicates reception of the satellite signal.
   NOTES

   When the connection is via the internet a Wi-Fi icon¹ replaces the satellite icon.

3. Seek down: Touch to view channels listed on the channel carousel. If a channel is not selected within the 20-second time-out period, the tuner automatically selects the centered channel tile.
4. Channel logo: Displays the logo of the currently selected channel.
   NOTES

   If unavailable, a generic image is displayed.

5. Seek up: Touch to view channels listed on the channel carousel. If a channel is not selected within the 20-second time-out period, the tuner automatically selects the centered channel tile.
6. Channel number: Touch to view the channel input keypad. Enter the channel using the numeric keypad. Press OK to confirm.
   NOTES

   The channel input screen continues to be displayed after a channel has been selected. To return to the SIRIUS XM screen, touch the PLAYER soft key.

   NOTES

   The keypad is a smart keypad and only allows the input of valid channel numbers.

7. Channel name: Displays the currently selected channel.
8. Broadcasting channel display: Displays the artist and song or team name.
   NOTES

   If Notifications is enabled, in settings, touching the artist, song or team ID gives the option for these to be added to a favorites list.

9. Settings icon: Touch to access the system settings screen. Touch the SIRIUSXM soft key to display the SiriusXM settings menu:

   Subscription: Displays the present subscription status. Touch the forward, arrow in the box below, to view the subscription setting options.

   Listener profile: Displays a selected listener profile. Touching the forward arrow, in the box below, gives the options to delete, add, or select an alternative profile from the existing list. If no profiles exist, follow the onscreen steps to create a listener profile.

   NOTES

   These actions can only be performed when the vehicle is stationary. When the vehicle is in motion, editing or selecting a Listener Profile is automatically inhibited.

   Personalize listener profile: Touch the forward arrow, in the box below, for the options to personalize a created listener profile.

   Notifications: Touch to switch the toggle on or off.

   Tune Start: Touch to switch the toggle on or off.

   Help & Support: Touch to access the Customer Care contact details and XM Radio ID number.

10. SEARCH soft key: Touch the search key to open a voice activation search screen. Follow the onscreen information to start a voice-activated search request.

    Touch the keyboard icon² on the voice screen to display the keyboard. Enter a keyword or number to search for a channel name or number. On selection touch the exit icon³ to return to the PLAYER screen.

11. Skip or scan forward:

    Touch and release to skip forward to the next track.

    Touch and hold to scan forward through the current track. Playback is resumed when released.

    NOTES

    If a live broadcast is operating the Skip forward icon is replaced by LIVE.

12. RELATED soft key: Touch to view recommended available broadcasts, with related or similar content, to currently selected broadcast.
    NOTES

    If there are no recommendations available this soft key is displayed as inactive.
13. BROWSE soft key: Touch to view the channel categories list.

    There are four super categories:

    Music.

    Sports.

    News.

    Talk.

    In each category, touch the soft key to display a list of available genres. Select the required genre from the list. Select the desired channel. Touch the back icon to return to the browse screen.

    Additional categories available in Browse are:

    For You soft key: Touch to display recommended channels. Touch the back icon to return to the browse screen.

    Recent soft key: Touch to display recent channels selected. Touch the back icon to return to the browse screen.

    Pandora Stations soft key: Touch to display a list of recently tuned to Pandora Stations. Touch the back icon to return to the browse screen.

    NOTES

    After selection, the BROWSE screen continues to be displayed. To return to the SIRIUS XM screen, touch the PLAYER soft key.

14. Pause or play: Select to pause playback. Select again to resume playback.
15. FAVORITES soft key: Touch to display a list of favorite channels. Touch the Favorites icon to add or delete the selected channel from the favorites list. The favorites icon is only highlighted when the selected channel tile is in the center of the screen. To rearrange the list order, touch and hold the required channel icon, then drag and drop to the desired position.
    NOTES

    The SIRIUS XM favorites list can store up to a maximum of 20 satellite radio stations, 10 sports teams, and 18 internet channels. SIRIUS XM favorites are independent of AM/FM radio favorites.

    NOTES

    After the selection of a stored favorite channel the FAVORITES screen continues to be displayed. To return to the SIRIUS XM screen, touch the PLAYER soft key.

16. Skip or scan backward:

    Touch and release to skip backward to the previous track.

    Touch and hold to scan backward through the current track. Playback is resumed when released.

17. PLAYER soft key: Touch to view the selected channel when in other channel modes.
18. Home icon: Touch to return to the home screen.
19. Media icon: Touch to display all media in the source selection screen.
20. Favorites icon: Touch to add a channel to the list of favorites.

SATELLITE RADIO RECEPTION

1. Satellite radio reception is strongest when there are clear skies.
2. When SiriusXM 360L is operational, via the internet, broadcasting content may be interrupted, in areas with poor cellular reception.
3. In urban areas, terrestrial transmitters are used to enhance coverage.
