Bluetooth® is the name for short-range Radio Frequency (RF) technology that allows electronic devices to communicate wirelessly with each other.

NOTES

The Bluetooth® word mark and logos are owned by Bluetooth SIG, Inc. Any use of such marks by Jaguar Land Rover Limited is under license. The vehicle’s Bluetooth® system supports Bluetooth® Hands-Free Profile (HFP), Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP), and Message Access Profile (MAP).

NOTES

HFP, A2DP, and AVRCP profiles can be connected independently. A phone can be connected via one profile, while a media device can be connected via the other at the same time. Before making use of the vehicle’s Bluetooth® phone system, the Bluetooth® device must be paired and connected to the vehicle’s system. The recommended method of connection is via the device to the vehicle. See PAIRING AND CONNECTING USING THE PHONE. Each time the ignition is switched on, the vehicle’s system attempts to connect with the last connected phone or media device. Phones and media devices have a wide range of audio and echo characteristics. The phone and media devices may take a few seconds for the vehicle’s system to adapt and deliver optimum audio performance. To achieve this, it may be necessary to reduce the sound system volume and also reduce the climate blower speed slightly.
