Fuse
WARNING
Substituting fuses can cause the wiring to overheat, catch fire and/or fail. Do not use any substitute for the standard fuse. Replace the blown fuse with a new one of the correct capacity, as specified on the fuse box and main fuse.
Main Fuse
The main fuse is placed in the starter relay behind the right side cover. To access the main fuse, disconnect the negative (-) cable from the battery terminal to prevent electrical short, then disconnect the connector from the starter relay. If a fuse blows during operation, inspect the electrical system to determine the cause and then replace it with a new fuse of proper amperage.

Accessory Fuse (KX450K)
The fuse for an electrical accessory is arranged in the fuse box located under the fuel tank. if the fuse blows during operation, inspect the electrical system to determine the cause, and then replace it with a new fuse of proper amperage.
NOTE
The electrical accessory connection to the connectors should be done by an authorized Kawasaki dealer.
