Disconnecting a Bluetooth-connected phone
A Bluetooth-connected phone can be disconnected from the vehicle.
- When the phone is out of range of the vehicle, it will be automatically disconnected. If a call is in progress when the phone is disconnected from the vehicle, the call will be transferred from the vehicle’s speakers and microphone to the cellular phone.
- The phone can also be disconnected by manually deactivating Bluetooth.
Disconnecting using the center display

- Tap on the row containing the name of the phone to disconnect both phone and media.

You can also select whether the phone should be connected as only phone or only media device by pressing the relevant icon.
Pairing a phone with the vehicle
Use Bluetooth to pair a phone with the vehicle to make calls, send and receive text messages, play media directly from the vehicle’s speakers, etc.
- Activate Bluetooth in the phone.

- If no phone is connected to the vehicle, go to App view
, settings at the bottom and tap Bluetooth > Pair new device. - If a phone has been connected to the vehicle previously, go to App view

> A list of available Bluetooth devices will be displayed. The list will be updated as new devices are discovered.
- Tap the name of the phone you would like to connect.
- Make sure that the code displayed in the vehicle matches the one in the phone. If it does, confirm the code in both places.
- In the phone, accept or cancel the options for selecting the phone’s contacts and text messages.
> By default, the phone is connected for use as both phone and media deviceIf the phone is connected for use as both phone and media device, it is possible to later switch between phone and media, for example if a passenger wants to use their phone as media device to play music. .
- Tap Done.
- Activate Bluetooth in the phone.
- Search in the phone for Bluetooth devices.
> A list of available Bluetooth devices will be displayed.
- Select the vehicle’s name from the list of devices in the phone.
- A pop-up window for the connection is shown in the car. Confirm the connection.
- Make sure that the code displayed in the vehicle matches the one displayed in the phone. If it does, confirm the code in both places.
- In the phone, accept or cancel the options for selecting the phone’s contacts and text messages.
- The message function must be activated in certain phones.
- Not all phones are fully compatible and may not be able to display contacts and messages in the vehicle.
If the phone’s operating system is being updated, it is possible that the connection will be interrupted. Delete the phone from the vehicle and reconnect.
Switch between phones connected via Bluetooth
It is possible to switch between Bluetooth-connected phones.
