Manually adjustable shock absorbers
Polestar 1 is equipped with Öhlins adjustable shock absorbers. There are three recommended positions for the setting of the front and rear shock absorbers. In addition to the factory setting, Performance, there is also a stiffer setting, Performance +, and a softer setting, Dynamic.
Performance +
In Performance + mode, the vehicle’s suspension feels stiffer. This mode is designed for driving on smoother roads and works well in combination with the Power drive mode.
Performance
Performance mode is designed for daily driving on public roads. This mode is the vehicle’s default mode.
Dynamic
Dynamic mode provides softer suspension that minimizes road irregularities while maintaining control.
