2022 Lucid Air Vehicle identification
Vehicle Identification Number
You may be asked to provide the vehicle identification number (VIN) when communicating with Lucid. You can find the VIN in the following locations:
- Top of the dashboard- the VIN is visible through the lowest part of the left-hand side of the windshield.
- On the Pilot Panel, select > About Vehicle to view the VIN.
NOTE: The VIN is also shown on the vehicle certification label and tire information label.
Vehicle Certification Label
The vehicle certification label is located on the left A-pillar.
The vehicle certification label states the following important information:
- Manufacturer of the vehicle
- Date the vehicle was manufactured (MM/YY)
- Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR)
NOTE: GVWR is the maximum allowable weight of the fully-loaded vehicle. This includes all options, equipment, passengers, and cargo. - Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR)
NOTE: GAWR is the maximum allowable weight that a single axle (front or rear) can carry. - Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
WARNING: Do not exceed the GVWR or the GAWR specified on the vehicle certification label.
WARNING: Exceeding the certification label vehicle weight limits can adversely affect the performance and handling of your vehicle. Overloading may also cause permanent damage to components, which could result in a loss of control of your vehicle, serious personal injury, or death.
WARNING: Do not use replacement tires with lower load-carrying capacities than the original tires, because they may lower your vehicle’s GVWR and GAWR limitations. Replacement tires with a hieher limit than the original tires do not increase the GVWR and GAWR limitations
