2022 Land Rover Range Rover Velar Touchscreen Settings

GENERAL SETTINGS

WARNING
Make sure the relevant safety warnings and cautions have been read and understood before driving the vehicle. See TOUCHSCREEN SAFETY.

Accessing the touchscreen settings allows for the adjustment of the general system settings.

  1. Touch the settings icon¹ from any screen.
  2. Touch All Settings.
  3. Touch General to display the GENERAL SETTINGS menu.

The GENERAL SETTINGS menu is divided into categories:

  • Time and Date.
  • Display.
  • Screensaver.
    NOTES
    Screensaver vehicle images may not be representative of the actual vehicle.
  • Master PIN.
    NOTES
    The default master PIN is 1926. Change the master PIN to a personal PIN as soon as possible.
  • Legal information.
  • Data Collection (only when set).

Touch to display the list of settings for the required system.

SYSTEM SETTINGS

System settings allows the adjustment of the selected features settings.

  1. Touch the settings icon¹ from any screen.
  2. Touch All Settings.
  3. Touch Features.

The FEATURES settings menu is divided into categories:

  • Favorite button.
  • Home.
  • Navigation.
  • Media.
  • Phone.
  • Live.
  • Low Traction Launch.
  • Voice.
  • Volume: Allows the volume settings of conversation assist and headphone volume limit to be adjusted.

Touch to display the list of settings for the required system.

NOTES
The list varies, depending on the specification of the vehicle.

TOUCHSCREEN DISPLAY SETTINGS

Changes can be made to the settings of the touchscreen tilt angle or display theme.

To adjust the touchscreen tilt angle:

  1. Touch the settings icon from any screen. See TOUCHSCREEN GLOBAL ICONS.
  2. Adjacent to the Screen angle title, touch the + or soft keys to adjust the tilt position.

The touchscreen display theme has three default option settings. To adjust the touchscreen display:

  1. Touch the settings icon from any screen. See TOUCHSCREEN GLOBAL ICONS.
  2. Adjacent to the Screen display theme title, select one of the available display soft key options:

    Auto soft key: Touch to select the auto option. The screen automatically changes between the light and dark screen displays, dependent on the time of day.

    Light soft key: Touch the white rectangle soft key to select the light display mode. The screen remains in light screen mode irrespective of the time of day.

    Dark soft key: Touch the black rectangle soft key to select the dark display mode. The screen remains in dark scren mode irrespective of the time of day.

LOWER TOUCHSCREEN DISPLAY SETTINGS

Touch the settings icon on the lower touchscreen to access the available features menu. See LOWER TOUCHSCREEN CONTROLS.

The lower touchscreen display settings menu is divided into three features. Touch the required feature to launch the settings screen:

  • Display.
  • Climate.
  • Seats.

The lower touchscreen start-up display can be programmed via the Start up screen. Touch the right arrow or the displayed feature, adjacent to the Start up screen title, to access the menu features.

Touch one of the following menu features, to store as the default display, when the lower touchscreen starts up:

  • Climate.
  • Seats.
  • Vehicle.
  • Phone.
  • Media.
  • Last used: Select to return to the last used feature on-screen start up.
  • No feature: Select to display a blank screen on-screen start-up.

CUSTOMIZABLE BUTTON SETTINGS

To customize a favorite feature:

  1. Touch the settings icon. See TOUCHSCREEN GLOBAL ICONS.
  2. Touch All settings.
  3. Touch Features.
  4. Touch the Favorite button.

Two customizable steering wheel button options are available to program on the FAVORITE BUTTON screen:

  • Short press.
  • Long press.

To replace a stored feature, touching the feature name of the respective button options opens the CONTENT LIBRARY screen.

Touch one of the following menu features to store and replace the present displayed customized button option:

  • Cancel guidance.
  • Next source.
  • Mute speaker.
  • Play/pause.
  • Voicemail.
  • Mute phone.
  • Hold.
  • Auto reject.
  • Upper screen off.
  • Traffic alerts.

Touch the touchscreen home menu return icon after feature storage. See TOUCHSCREEN GLOBAL ICONS.

A corresponding short press or long press of the steering wheel favorite button operates the stored feature. See AUDIO STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS.
