Rear View Mirror Adjustment

• Adjust the rearview mirror by slightly moving only the mirror portion of the assembly.
• If the rear visibility can not be assured by moving the mirror, loosen the upper hexagonal area and turn the stay by hand.

NOTE
The upper hexagonal area (locknut) has left-hand threads.

Tightening Torque

• Lower Hexagonal Area: 30 N.m (3.1 kgfrm, 22 ft.lb)
• Upper Hexagonal Area: 18 (1.8 kgf•m, 13 ft•lb)

A. Lower Hexagonal Area for Tightening

C. Rear View Mirror
D. Rubber Boots

NOTE
lf a torque wrench is not available, this item should be serviced by a Kawasaki dealer.
