Kawasaki SPIN App

This is an app for connecting the vehicle and your mobile device.  It allows the mirroring of various verified apps adapted to Kawasaki SPIN on the display screen of the vehicle. Verified apps are listed in Kawasaki SPIN and can be installed from there.

NOTE

• Kawasaki SPIN uses both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Both functions on your device must be enabled.
• ln order to launch the Kawasaki SPIN app, complete the connection settings of Bluetooth in advance (see Menu Mode Screen section).
• When the mobile device is connected via Bluetooth, the connection setting of Wi-Fi will be done automatically.
• Wi-Fi is a trademark of Wi-Fi Alliance.
  • Launch the app.
  • Tap the motorcycle icon to shift to the vehicle mode, and the app starts mirroring.

Mirroring Area

NOTE

• You cannot use your device during the vehicle mode (while mirroring).
• Use the handlebar switches to operate the mirroring screen.
• The vehicle mode is closed when the Kawasaki SPIN app hides off the screen of your device. Do not tum off or lock the device screen, or switch to other app.
• Mirroring may be canceled automatically under certain conditions (overheating of your device, weakening of the communication signal strength,etc.).
• By changing the setting on the app, you can also connect automatically when the app launches.

Basic Operations

Pre-installed Apps

The following features are available from the beginning.

Music

This is a basic music player. You can play music files stored in your device.

NOTE

• Pushing the middle button to start/pause music.
• Pushing the upper/lower mode buttons to go to the next/previous song.
• By pushing the Fn button, you can adjust the volume with the upper/lower mode buttons.

Maps
This can display the current location. There is no navigation function, but you can search/set your destination.

Phone
You can make and receive calls. During mirroring, the call history remains in the Kawasaki SPIN app.

NOTE
You can adjust the volume with the upper/lower mode buttons during a call.

Contacts
You can refer to the contents registered in your phonebook app, and make a call.

Calendar
You can refer to the contents registered in your schedule app.
