Seats
The seats can be removed by in order of the passenger’s seat then the rider’s seat. Passenger’s Seat Removal
WARNING
The muffler quickly becomes very hot soon after the engine is started and can cause serious burns. To avoid burns, be careful not to touch the muffler when operating the seat lock.
- Insert the ignition key into the seat lock.
- Lift the front of the passenger’s seat while turning the key clockwise.
- Remove the passenger’s seat forward.
- Remove the ignition key.

Passenger’s Seat Installation
- Insert the tab on the rear of the passenger’s seat into the slot of the frame bracket.
- Insert the hook on the front of the passenger’s seat into the hole of the frame.

- Push down the front part of the pas- senger’s seat until the lock clicks.
- Pull up the front and rear ends of the passenger’s seat to make sure they are securely locked.
Rider’s Seat Removal
- Remove the passenger’s seat (see Passenger’s Seat Removal).
- Remove the bolts.
- Lift the rear of rider’s seat, and re- move the rider’s seat backward.

Rider’s Seat Installation
Insert the tabs on the front of the rider’s seat under the fuel tank bracket.

- Tighten the bolts securely.
- Install the passenger’s seat (see Passenger’s Seat Installation).
