To keep the handlebar properly secured in place it is necessary to install the handlebar clamps correctly.

Torque the clamp bolts to 25 N m (2.5 kgfm, 18 ft-lb), front first, then rear. If the handlebar clamps are correctly installed, there will be no gap at the front and an even gap at the rear of the clamps after torquing the bolts.

- Check the front brake for the proper brake effect, or no brake drag.
- Check the clutch lever and throttle for the proper operations.
