Stopping the Motorcycle
For maximum deceleration, close the throttle and apply both front and rear brakes. Pull in the clutch lever as the motorcycle comes to a stop. Indepen- dent use of the front or rear brake may be advanta- geous in certain circumstances. Shift down progres- sively to ensure good engine response at all speeds.
