2022 Kawasaki KLX300/KLX300SM Seat

Seat

Seat Removal

• Remove the bolts and left side cover.
• Remove the right side cover in the same way.
  • A. Bolts
  • B. Left Side Cover
• Remove the bolt to free the seat strap.
• Lift the seat upward and slide it rearward to free the hooks.

  • C. Seat
  • D. Hooks

Seat Installation

• Insert the front hook to the receiver on the fuel tank.
• Insert the center hook under the frame.
  • A. Front Hook
  • B. Receiver
  • C. Center Hook
  • D. Frame
• Install the seat strap and tighten the bolt.
• Pull up the front and rear ends of the seat to make sure it is securely installed.
• Install the side covers and tighten the bolts.
