Fuel Tap
The fuel tap supplies fuel from the fuel tank to the carburetor. The fuel tap has three positions.
OFF:
With the lever and A” mark in this position, fuel will not flow. Always turn the lever to this position when the engine is not running
ON,
With the lever “A” mark in this position, fuel flows to the carburetor. Normal riding is done with the lever in this position.
RES:
This indicates reserve. If you run out of fuel while riding, turn the lever “A” mark to this position.

NOTE
- Since riding distance is limited when on “RES”, refuel at the earliest opportunity.
- Make certain that the fuel tap is turned to “ON” (“Not” “REY), after filling the fuel tank

Can cause loss of control and result in injury or death.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
Practice operating the fuel tap with the vehicle stopped. To prevent an accident you should be able to operate the fuel tap while riding without taking your eyes off the terrain.

Be careful not to touch the hot engine while operating the fuel tap.
