Beginning riders should practice braking and turn in an open, off-road area away from other riders. The terrain should be flat and free of obstacles with a loose or hard dirt surface. but not a mixture of both. Do not ride on pavement. ATVs are designed for off-road use only.

HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
Beginning and inexperienced operators should complete the certified training course offered by The ATV Safety Institute (ASI). They should then regularly practice the skills learned in the course and the operating techniques described in the Owner’s Manual.
