Left Handlebar Switches

• A. Dimmer Switch/Passing Button
• B. Turn Signal Switch
• C. Horn Button
• D. Meter Mode Button
• E. K-ACT ABS Button
• F. KTRC Button
• G. Electric Windshield Adjusting Button

Dimmer Switch

High or low beam can be selected with the dimmer switch. High beam. D (High beam indicator: see Meter Instruments section) Low beam.. (Double lights go on)

NOTE
Do not allow anything to cover the headlight lens when the headlight is on. If covered, heat can build up in the headlight lens causing lens dis- coloration or melting, as well as damage to the item covering the lens.

Passing Button pass

The high beam turns on only while the passing button is pushed. Turn Signal Switch When the turn signal switch is turned to the left ( )or write (), the corresponding turn signal lights and turn signal indicator blinks. To cancel the turn signal, push the switch in.

Horn Button

When the horn button is pushed, the horn sounds.

Meter Mode Button MoDE

The meter mode button is used for setting the metering mode. Refer to the Display Setting section in this chapter.

K-ACT ABS Button K-aCT

The K-ACT ABS button is used for setting the K-ACT ABS. Refer to the Features section in this chapter.

KTRC Button KTRC

The KTRC button is used for setting the KTRC. Refer to the Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) section in the HOW TO RIDE THE MOTORCYCLE chapter.

Electric Windshield Adjustingg Button

• Windshield height can be changed by an electric windshield adjusting button.
• When moving the windshield up or down as the arrow mark, push and hold the adjusting button.
• Windshield up.
• Windshield down.

A. Windshield

NOTICE
Make sure all body parts, clothing or other objects are not near the movable parts of the windshield when it is being moved to avoid such items from becoming pinched or caught.
