  2. Select Low Traction Launch.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Select Start Low Traction Launch.
NOTES
Low traction launch operation is further enhanced if the rain ice snow driving mode is selected. See RAIN ICE SNOW MODE.

The touchscreen automatically displays a low traction launch pop-up screen if the rain ice snow driving mode is selected, and the following conditions exist:

  • The vehicle is stationary.
  • The accelerator pedal is not pressed.
  • All Surface Progress Control (ASPC) is either not active or is in descent control mode.

Follow the on-screen instructions to enable a low traction launch or to ignore the request.

LOW TRACTION LAUNCH LIMITATIONS

Low traction launch does not operate:

  • At speeds above 19 mph (30 km/h).
  • If ASPC enters full function mode.
  • If a program other than comfort, rain ice snow, or Adaptive Surface Response (AdSR) is selected.
  • The accelerator pedal is pressed fully to the floor.
  • A fault is detected in the low traction launch system.
