LABEL LOCATIONS
This warning symbol means do not touch or adjust components until you have read the relevant instructions in the handbook.
Labels showing this symbol indicate that the ignition system utilises very high voltages. Do not touch any ignition components while the ignition is switched on.
Labels are applied to draw attention to important subjects, e.g., tire pressures or air bags, and engine compartment hazards.
Additional information labels may also be found at these locations:
- Air Conditioning (A/C) label: Left side inner fender.
- Air bag label: Both sun visors.
- Vehicle identification label, including the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and the recommended maximum vehicle weights: Located on the driver side B pillar.
The vehicle’s built-date is shown on the VIN label.
NOTES
The VIN number is shown on a label visible through the bottom left side of the windshield. Additionally the VIN number is stamped into the vehicle’s body on the right front suspension turret.NOTES
The VIN number can also be viewed via the Vehicle information menu. See INSTRUMENT PANEL MENU OPTIONS. - Tire pressure label: B pillar driver’s side.
- Air bag warning labels: B pillar. The side head-thorax air bag label is on both sides. The passenger air bag label is on the passenger’s side only.
- Engine number: Located on the front of the right-side camshaft cover.
- Fuel specification label: Inner face of the fuel filler flap.
- Battery warning symbols: Top face of the battery.
- Battery warning symbols (convertible only): Top face of the battery.
- Engine number: Stamped into the left side, rear of the engine casing.
