2023 Ford E350-Series Head Restraints
Head restraints are important in a vehicle because they help to protect the driver and passengers from whiplash in the event of a rear–end collision. Whiplash is a neck injury that can occur when the head is suddenly jerked forward and then back again. This can happen when the vehicle is hit from behind by another vehicle. Head restraints help to minimize the risk of whiplash by keeping the head from being jerked forward.
HEAD RESTRAINTS
The front row outboard non-adjustable head restraints consist of a trimmed foam covering over the upper structure of the seatback. Properly adjust the seatback to an upright driving or riding position, so that the head restraint is positioned as close as possible to the back of your head.
