Engine Start/Stop Switch
To start the engine, refer to the Start ing the Engine section for starting in- structions. To stop the engine in an emergency, move the engine stop switch to the position. Ordinarily, the engine stop switch must be in the position for the motorcycle to operate.
NOTE
- Ordinarily, the ignition switch should be used to stop the engine. engine stops the engine, it does not turn off all the electrical circuits and events-
- Although the stop critically the battery will be discharged.
Mode Button
The mode button is used for setting the meter, KTRC mode and KLCM.
Meter setting:
Refer to the Setting Mode section.
KTRC mode setting:
Refer to the Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC) section in the HOW TO RIDE THE MOTORCYCLE chapter.
KLCM setting:
