2022 Kawasaki W800 Fuses
Fuses
- Fuses are arranged in the fuse box and junction box. Fuse box located un- der the seat. The junction box is located behind the left side cover. The main fuse is mounted on the starter relay located behind the left side cover. If a fuse fails during operation, inspect the electrical system to determine the cause and then replace it with a new fuse of proper amperage.
- If the fuse fails repeatedly, there is something wrong with the electrical system. Have the motorcycle checked by an authorized Kawasaki dealer.
- The main fuse removal should be done by an authorized Kawasaki dealer.
- Remove the seat.
- Remove the left side cover (see Battery removal section)
- Remove the starter relay.
- Remove the fuel pump relay.
- Lift the junction Box.
- Open the junction box cover.
- Install the removed parts.
WARNING
- Substituting fuses can cause wiring to overheat, catch fire and/or fail. Do not use any substitute for the standard fuse.
- Replace the blown fuse with a new one of the correct capacity, as specified on the junction box and main fuse.
