Stopping the Engine
- Close the throttle completely.
- Shift the transmission into neutral.
- Turn the key knob to “OFF.”
NOTE
- When turning the key knob to “OFF” or “FSS,” the turn signal indicators and turn signal lights blink one time and the key knob indicator is displayed in the multifunction meter for 5 seconds. Refer to the ignition Switch section in the GENERAL INFORMA- TION chapter for detailed info- ration of the ignition switch.
- Support the motorcycle on a firm, level surface with the side stand or center stand.
- Lock the steering.
